# Finishing

Finishing is what takes your merch from printed garments to **retail-ready products**. At Print Room, we offer a full range of in-house finishing services so your custom screen printed, embroidered, or heat pressed products arrive ready to wear, sell, or distribute. These extras add value, strengthen your branding, and create a professional unboxing experience.

#### Our finishing options include:

* **Neck tag printing** – Replace manufacturer labels with custom printed tags that include your logo, size, and care instructions.
* **Neck tag labels** – Woven or printed labels sewn into the neckline for a premium, retail-quality finish.
* **Woven pips & hem labels** – Small branded tags sewn onto hems, sleeves, or pockets, popular in fashion and streetwear.
* **Hang tags** – Custom swing tags with logos, pricing, or campaign info, available in a wide range of stocks and finishes.
* **Tea towel wraps** – Printed belly-band wraps to package tea towels for retail or gifting.
* **Folding & bagging** – Each garment folded neatly and packed into a polybag for retail presentation or online order fulfilment.
* **Barcoding & labelling** – Barcodes, size stickers, or SKU labels applied for easy stock management and retail distribution.

#### Why finishing matters

* **Brand consistency** – Reinforces your identity across every detail of your merch.
* **Retail-ready presentation** – Perfect for e-commerce, events, and retail shelves.
* **Added value** – Professional packaging and labelling help position your products at a higher level.
* **Customer experience** – A polished finish creates a better impression for your customers or supporters.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.theprintroom.nz/production-capabilities/finishing.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
