# Repurpose Initiative

At Print Room, we’re committed to reducing textile waste and helping our clients make more sustainable choices. Our **Repurpose Initiative** gives existing customers a way to return outdated merch so it can be recycled and repurposed instead of going to landfill.

**How it works:**

1. **Get in touch** – If you have uniforms, event apparel, or promotional merchandise originally produced by Print Room that have reached the end of their life, email us with details of the fabric type and quantity.
2. **Drop off or ship** –
   * If you’re in **Dunedin**, you can drop your garments directly at Print Room HQ.
   * If you’re based elsewhere, we’ll provide you with a **pre-paid shipping label** once we’ve reviewed your request. All you need to do is cover the shipping costs.
3. **Processing** – Once received, we work with **specialist textile recycling partners** to give your garments a second life. Materials are repurposed into useful products like felts, insulation, blankets, and more.

**What you can return:**

* Outdated uniforms
* Event apparel
* Promotional merchandise originally produced by Print Room

**Why it matters:**

* Keeps textiles out of landfill
* Extends the lifecycle of garments
* Supports a circular approach to merchandise and apparel

By choosing the Repurpose Initiative, you’re not only managing old stock responsibly — you’re also contributing to our wider sustainability journey alongside our **water-based inks, tree planting programme, and B Corp certification goals**.
