Decoration Type(s)
At Print Room, we offer a full range of in-house decoration methods to suit different garments, designs, and budgets. Each method has its strengths, and our team can help you choose the best option for your project.
What it is: Ink is pushed through a mesh screen to create bold, durable prints. We use only water-based inks for a soft, breathable feel and a more sustainable finish.
Best for: T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, tea towels, and large artwork areas.
Why choose it: Cost-effective for larger runs, sharp and vibrant results, and the option for specialty inks (metallic, puff, glow-in-the-dark).
Limitations: Price increases with the number of colours; minimum order of 24 garments.
What it is: Your design is stitched directly into the garment using our Tajima embroidery machines. We can embroider up to 12 thread colours per design.
Best for: Caps, polos, jackets, fleece, uniforms, and outerwear.
Why choose it: Premium, long-lasting finish that adds texture and dimension. Options include puff embroidery, appliqué, and woven patches.
Limitations: Small text or highly detailed designs may not stitch well; minimum order of 12 units for outerwear and 24 for other garments.
What it is: Designs are printed onto transfer sheets and then heat-pressed onto garments. At Print Room we offer several types:
Supacolour – Full-colour, vibrant transfers with soft feel.
DTF (Direct-to-Film) – Great for gradients, photos, and fine detail.
Vinyl – Ideal for names, numbers, and one-off personalisation.
Specialty options – Puff vinyl, silicone high build, and press-on patches.
Best for: Technical fabrics, activewear, short runs, or detailed multi-colour artwork.
Why choose it: Unlimited colours, sharp detail, and fast turnaround.
Limitations: Not as cost-effective for very large bulk runs compared to screen printing.
